And now more fun with Nicole and Keith!
If you’ve had the opportunity to visit the Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA, you should immediately recognize the breathtaking wavy hills of grass in the opening scenes of the first movie clip. And if you haven’t visited Crane Estate, I highly recommend a visit to this magnificent historic landmark. Better yet, get invited to a wedding reception there and prepare to be mesmerized by the sheer beauty of this venue!
Immediately following the ceremony, Neeta and I grabbed our gear and headed to the Crane Estate. As we started making our way through the guests during cocktail hour, we planned our strategy for capturing the wedding party introductions. Having two cameras and videographers gave us flexibility in capturing the footage from various angles while keeping a low profile amongst the guests. Before long, DJ Terry Moran from Crown Entertainment announced that it was time for wedding party introductions. Neeta and I (along with photographer Kim Calakoutis from KC Photography) took our positions for the grand entrance.
I absolutely love Nicole and Keith’s first dance. The gobo projection of Nicole and Kieth’s names on the ceiling, the blue LED uplighting in the corners of the hall, and the loving couple celebrating their first dance as husband and wife. Oh, and did I mention the hilarious antics of the guests showering Nicole and Keith with cash? Now THAT’S a first dance!
