Cinematic Wedding Filmmaker/Videographer

One of our favorite weddings of all time!  Great couple, beautiful venue, and amazing weather.  Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!  Oh, and the "sparkler exit" at the end of the night was just stunning (almost near the end of their video clip)!

Congrats to Allison and Ryan on your big day!

Lake Quannapowitt :: Wakefield, MA :: Cecilie and Spencer (Family Portraits)

And now, time for something a little different.  Many of you know us for our cinematic wedding films, but every once in a while we like to throw a few different types of work on our blog.  Today is one of those exceptions!  We had the pleasure of working with Cecilie and Spencer (and their adorable daughter Lucia), and caught the late afternoon sun at the majestic Lake Quannapowitt.  The orangey-red hues of the just-fallen leaves were the perfect backdrop for this adorable family's portraits... there truly isn't anything as spectacular as fall in New England!

Here are a few of our favorite pics from the shoot!  Love the smiles!!

Ipswich Country Club Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Ipswich, MA :: Danielle and Jared (Part IV - Wedding Recap Film)

From the moment I first met Danielle and Jared (over a year before their wedding!), I knew they were an amazing couple.  Perhaps it was their warm and genuine hospitality in welcoming me in their home, or perhaps it was the couple's love of travel (which led to their "travel" wedding theme) and all the amazing sites they had seen through the years.  But something about this couple made me realize just how much in love they are with each other, and I couldn't wait to be part of all the wedding day fun.

Danielle and Jared started their day at St. Pius the Fifth Parish in Lynn, MA for a traditional Catholic ceremony.  The couple wrote their own vows (and anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge fan of personalized-vows!).  Every time I watch their wedding film, I get a little choked-up inside when I hear the truly heartfelt words that are spoken to one another.  Just awesome!

The couple then headed over to the elegant Ipswich Country Club in Ipswich, MA.  I have to say... the picturesque setting made for some insanely gorgeous candids of the newlyweds.  And with the gentle glow of the late spring sunset in the background... well folks... this is weather that everyone wishes for on their wedding day.  Danielle and Jared lucked out big time!

A huge special thanks to my good friends and amazing cinematographers Bob Accettullo and Brian Arata.  You truly outdid yourselves, and I'm sure Danielle and Jared will agree that their wedding film looks stunning!  And a big shout out to photographer Bharat Parmar and DJ Peter Accolla... always a pleasure to work with such talented professionals who love doing what they do!

And now, without further delay, I give you the world premiere of Danielle and Jared's wedding recap film!  It has been an honor working with both of you (and your families) and I wish you all the best for a lifetime of happiness!

Ipswich Country Club Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Ipswich, MA :: Danielle and Jared (Part III - Slideshow)

OK, pop quiz.... name a highlight of the wedding reception?  Did you say parent dances?  Yup... that's right.  The traditional father-daughter and mother-son dances are full of emotion and happiness.  We often see tears of happiness, and we love capturing that on film!

For Danielle and her father, their parent dance had an element that we often see at weddings... but not typically during the parent dance!  Thanks to Danielle's friend Karen Manuelian and her slideshow creativity, they were able to display a slideshow of Danielle and her father DURING their parent dance!  How awesome is that!

I asked Danielle if it would be ok to post the slideshow online, and she said yes.  Thanks to Karen Manuelian for sharing this slideshow file with us!

Ipswich Country Club Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Ipswich, MA :: Danielle and Jared (Part II - Wedding Party Introductions)

And now, time for some more fun with Danielle and Jared!

When it comes to introductions, Danielle and Jared's wedding party is an absolute "pro" at making a grand entrance.  We loved watching all the playful antics of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, but we were blown away by how the crowd went wild when DJ Peter Accolla told the guests to "make some noise" for the newlywed couple!  We're so happy that Danielle and Jared had so many friends and family at the elegant Ipswich Country Club to share the love on their very special day.

We're in the final stages of wedding film production for Danielle and Jared, but thought we'd share this fun clip from their reception.  We love hearing all the cheering and excitement as Danielle and Jared get officially introduced as a married couple!

Coming up next.... Danielle and Jared's wedding film recap.  Check back soon!

St. Pius the Fifth Parish Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Lynn, MA :: Danielle and Jared (Part I - Sneak Preview)

We're underway with the summer wedding season, and I thought we'd kick off the warm weather with a short clip from Danielle and Jared's wedding film!  We're still in the editing phase for their film, but if you'd like to see a sneak peak of their beautiful ceremony at St. Pius the Fifth Parish, you've come to the right place.

Danielle and Jared wrote their own wedding vows to each other (we love personalized wedding vows!!), but you'll have to wait a little longer to see the full film as we're still fine-tuning the footage.  Until then, here's a short clip from their ring exchange.... you can see just see the happiness on both their faces!  Love the smiles, guys!

Congrats to Danielle and Jared, and thanks to my good friends (and fellow cinematographers) Bob Accettullo and Brian Arata for their help on this wedding film!

More to come soon, check back often!

Congrats to Jessica and Roger, and thank you for having us be there to capture your special day!

Oak Ames Memorial Hall Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: North Easton, MA :: Amy and Jerry (Part II - Wedding Recap Film)

There comes a time when words aren't able to do justice to the heartfelt emotions of a wedding day.  Whenever I see tears of joy from both the bride and groom as they vow to love one another for the rest of their lives, I can't help but get a little teary eyed myself.  Amy and Jerry are such a couple, and I am blown away by how meaningful this couple has chosen to make their wedding day.

But let's back up to when this all started.  I first met with Amy and Jerry about ten months prior to their wedding, and I could tell they were a fun-loving couple.  Jerry's extensive collection of pristine-condition "Jordans" sneakers, Amy's stiletto heels emblazoned with rhinestones in the shape of the Patriots logo, and of course, the couples die-hard passion for everything-Patriots made me realize how determined this couple was to personalize their wedding day to represent everything important to "Team Pajotte".  I cannot tell you how much I love seeing that in a wedding couple... it makes me so happy that they're making this wedding day about them and the people they love.  In their words, "together, they are unbreakable."  Love that!

Zip ahead to October 24, 2014... the big day.  Shooting with me that day was Bob Accettullo (thank you, Bob, for all your hard work)!  Our first stop was the Holiday Inn in Taunton, where we split up and captured footage of Amy and Jerry getting ready.  We got to meet Jerry's daughter Anarie (who's smile stole the show during all the portrait sessions)!  Amy and Jerry's gift exchange was so much fun (and yes, full of happy tears), but what really blew us away was their inspirational first-look.  In our planning meetings, we had discussed first-look concepts, and they had decided to do a non-traditional first-look.  We weren't sure how this would translate on film, but I can assure you... it was spectacular (and we may be stealing this idea in the future.. haha!).  Amy was able to see Jerry's back, and the two of them were able to talk to each other, all without actually seeing one another face to face.  It's a bit hard to describe... so you'll have to watch their wedding recap film below (or better yet... ask them to show you their complete wedding film) to get a true sense!

We then headed over to Oak Ames Memorial Hall to capture the ceremony.  Huge props to Jimmy Grieshaber (the officiant) who personalized the ceremony to really fit Amy and Jerry's style.  I love the line "through touchdowns and fumbles..." as he references Amy and Jay's love for the Patriots!

We then headed over to The Chateau Restaurant for the elegant cocktail hour and reception.  I still can't believe Amy and Jerry hand-designed the metal lantern centerpieces on each of the tables (which they showed me at their home prior to their wedding day).  And don't forget their "S'more" themed signature martinis and wedding favors... another nice touch of personalization.

Amy and Jerry, if there was an award for most personalized wedding, I think you'd be top contenders!  We've loved working with you and have had quite a challenge condensing all the footage into a 7-minute wedding recap film.  Needless to say, it's been a pleasure working with you and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!  Perhaps your wedding will serves as an inspiration for future wedding couples!

A few shout-outs to some really great people.  Todd Wilson, love your creativity and great attitude... it was great working with you again!  Gary Ahearn and Dana Berger, your energy is infectious and you kept the party rocking all night long!  And special thanks to Weston Faulkner for the beautiful acoustic guitar accompaniment.  Your music really set the mood for the ceremony!

And now, without further delay, let's get to Amy and Jerry's wedding recap film.  Congrats to Amy, Jerry, and little Anarie on their amazing day!

Ocean Edge Resort Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Brewster, MA :: Allison and Ryan (Part III - Wedding Recap Film)

There’s something magical about weddings on the Cape, and that’s certainly true for Allison and Ryan’s big day on September 20, 2014.

But first, if you haven’t seen Allison and Ryan’s previous blog posts, definitely check them out:
Allison and Ryan wedding ceremony clip
Allison and Ryan sneak peek still images

Neeta and I started our day early for the drive down to picturesque Brewster, MA.  Our first stop was Ocean Edge Resort where we met up with Allison and her bridesmaids.  We caught some really great moments of Allison sharing a few laughs and jokes with her bridesmaids.  "Prep" is one of my favorite parts of the day... it’s the only part of the day where the couple won’t know what took place until they see their wedding film!   It’s quite a treat for the couple to view their day after many months of planning!

We then headed over to Our Lady of the Cape Catholic Church for the ceremony.  Neeta and I split up and she went outside to capture shots of guests arriving while I met up with Ryan to capture some shots of him getting ready with his best man Justin.  Father Bernard was so great to work with... and his analogy of building and maintaining a house on Cape Cod seemed so appropriate for this newlywed’s bright future together.

There are so many wonderful moments from Allison and Ryan’s day and we think their wedding recap film best captures all the excitement, happiness, and of course, love.  Thanks to all of Allison and Ryan’s family and friends for being so helpful (and holding doors to let us pass through more easily)!  A huge shout out to Heather Chick for being such a great photographer... if you haven’t seen her work, you should definitely check her out!   Big thanks to Jon Smith from Unique Sounds for keeping the party going strong all night and telling us that we had some of the nicest camera gear they’ve ever seen (awww... shucks :) )!

So without further delay, the world premiere of Allison and Ryan’s wedding recap film.  Thanks to Allison and Ryan for being such a great couple (we love seeing your smiles!), and thanks for letting us be there to capture your special day.

Our Lady of the Cape Catholic Church Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Brewster, MA :: Allison and Ryan (Part II - Wedding Vows)

And now, time for more fun with Allison and Ryan!  There's just SO much great footage from their wedding that we're having a tough time figuring out what to use on their final film.  But believe me, it's a good "problem" to have!  All the smiles, all the laughter, all the emotions... what an amazing wedding at Our Lady of the Cape Catholic Church in Brewster, MA.

Click here to see Allison and Ryan's sneak peak "freeze frames" from our collection of footage!

So even though we're still working on Allison and Ryan's wedding film, we thought we'd release this short clip from their wedding ceremony.  You can almost feel the emotion between these newlyweds as they recite vows to each other in front of their family and friends.  And we're so happy to have been there to capture such a beautiful moment.

More to come soon!  Happy viewing!

Oak Ames Memorial Hall Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: North Easton, MA :: Amy and Jerry (Part I - Sneak Preview)

If an award existed for "most heartfelt wedding ceremony," Amy and Jerry's wedding ceremony would certainly be a top contender.  The beaming smiles from the guests, the joyous tears as the couple embraces and kisses for the first time as husband and wife, and the wedding party lined up and ready to cheer them on all make for a truly memorable ceremony.  Just take a look at Amy and Jerry's wedding ceremony snippet below and you'll be filled with emotions yourself... I'm pretty sure you'll get a little misty-eyed as officiant Jimmy Grieshaber eloquently (and at times, humorously!) explains why the love between Amy and Jerry is so precious.

There are countless hours of wedding day footage from Amy and Jerry's amazing wedding day that we're still processing to create a beautiful wedding film.  But we just had to share this brief glimpse into their big day.  From the super-fun wedding party to the meticulously detailed table decorations, there's a ton of great footage and we can't wait to share more with you!  Special thanks to filmmaker Bob Accettullo for his help in capturing all the fun and festivities!

There's a lot to be thankful for this year, and we're thrilled to have been part of Amy and Jerry's very special day.  More to come soon... Happy Thanksgiving!

Ocean Edge Resort Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Brewster, MA :: Allison and Ryan (Part I - Sneak Preview)

There's a reason why weddings on Cape Cod are so beautiful.  Perhaps the vacation-like feel of a resort-setting wedding contributed to the relaxed atmosphere, but we think it's the people that make these weddings so much fun.  Neeta and I had the honor of working with Allison and Ryan in September at Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club, and we absolutely love all their genuine smiles of happiness on everyone's faces!!  Here are a few of our favorite "freeze frames" from their preparations and ceremony.  There are literally hours of footage we've captured from their wedding, and we're going through and creating their film right now.  You'll have to wait a little longer to see their wedding film, but hopefully these images will give you a glimpse into their amazing wedding day.

More to come soon!  Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to see what where we're working on now.

Seaport World Trade Center Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Arlington, MA :: Patty and Matt (Part III - Wedding Recap Film)

And now for the moment you've all been waiting for... Patty and Matt's wedding recap film!  Through this 6-minute film, you'll be able to get a sample of the amazing day that Patty and Matt shared with their family and friends.

On the beautifully sunny morning of July 26, 2014, Neeta and I arrived at Patty's parents' home to start our day of coverage.  There was plenty of excitement already in progress, and we jumped right in to capture some key moments of the preparations.  From hair and make-up to putting on the wedding gown, Patty and her bridesmaids spent the morning and early afternoon getting ready for the big day.  I started capturing detail shots of Patty's dress, jewelry, and shoes while Neeta stepped outside to get some establishing shots of the house and flowers so that we could create a warm opening to their wedding film.

Fast forward to St. Agnes Parish where Patty and Matt got to see each other for the first time that day!  The homily given by Father Brian Flatley was so touching that we knew we'd have to incorporate his uplifting words into the wedding recap film!

We then headed to the Seaport World Trade Center and were blown away by the intricate detail that Patty and Matt had put into designing their reception space.  From their custom-engraved mini wine cask (for collecting cards) to their classic table settings, we knew we had to capture as much of the details as possible.  And let's not forget the evening photo session, just after sunset.  Paired with the twinkling lights of the city in the background, Patty and Matt's smiles say it all.... blissful happiness.

Special thanks to Eric Barry for sharing some of his still photos for our wedding film production.  If you're looking for a friendly and amazing photographer, you must check out Eric.  And a big shout out to Dan McCarthy for keeping the party going all night long!  We loved the upbeat atmosphere and we were able to capture some really great footage of guests dancing!

So without further delay, here's the world premiere of Patty and Matt's wedding recap film!  We've had a wonderful time working with both of you and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!  Congrats!

Saint Agnes Parish Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Arlington, MA :: Patty and Matt (Part II - Exchange of Vows and Rings)

There's something quite special about Patty and Matt's wedding day.  Maybe it's the beautiful flowers the couple chose to adorn St. Agnes Parish.  Or perhaps it's the perfectly sunny weather that graced their wedding day.  Or maybe it's how Patty and Matt beam with happiness to be marrying each other.  Yes, that must be it.  You can tell they are just so happy to be tying the knot!

We're still in the process of editing their cinematic wedding film, but for all those waiting around to see more, here's a brief glimpse into Patty and Matt's wedding ceremony.   We're thrilled to have been there to capture their wedding day, and can't wait to share more with you very soon!

Enjoy!

Tanglewood Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Lenox, MA :: Lauren and Jeremy (Part III - Wedding Recap Film)

"What nobody else is doing."

That's the answer that Lauren gave when I asked if her wedding had a special theme to it.  I wasn't quite sure how to interpret this at first, but as I got to know Lauren and Jeremy over the course of several months, I learned more about their outgoing personalities and their love for hosting great parties.  I should have known their wedding day would be a "hit" by the amount of time and effort Lauren and Jeremy put into preparing a small feast of cocktail snacks each time we got together to talk about their day!

Fast forward to June 7, 2014.  Neeta and I journeyed out to Lenox, MA and found our way to Tanglewood Music Center.  As with most weddings, our day started with preparations of Lauren and Jeremy in their respective rooms at Highwood Manor, one of the several "rehearsal" houses for Tanglewood's elite musicians.  Neeta and I took a quick tour of the beautiful grounds, got our cameras ready, and then split up.  I made my way up to Lauren's room and found the bride getting ready with her bridesmaids.  Neeta headed out to the outdoor ceremony area (already setup with chairs, a chuppah, and flowers) and started getting some great detail shots of the amazing ceremony space with jaw-dropping vistas of the Berkshires in the background!

I then quickly headed over to Jeremy's room where he was busy transcribing his vows on to yellow-striped index cards!  "Awesome!" I thought... "this is going to make for a killer pre-wedding story!"  His groomsmen were involved in a jovial discussion about different types of metals used in wedding bands, so I grabbed my shotgun microphone to capture some of the great back-and-forth bantering.

I could go on and on about how the perfect late-spring day became a wedding day that will go into our books as one of the classiest weddings we've ever captured.  But we think their wedding recap film will do much better justice of telling their story of love, family, and burn-the-floor dance moves!  I have to admit... this couple can DANCE!

Special thanks to Douglas Levy for sharing a few of his still images with us (seriously, you MUST check out his work).  Doug, we are thrilled to have worked with you once again!  A shout out to DJ John Dolan for keeping us informed when he'd be starting each of the events throughout the reception (makes our job SO much easier)!  And thanks to Jeanne Spence for the mouth-watering feast for Lauren and Jeremy's guests.  We love seeing people who are so dedicated to their craft, and Jeanne and her team were professionals by all definitions.

There's something endearing about the smiles on Lauren and Jeremy's faces.  They're genuine smiles... the kind that easily conveys just how happy this couple is to be getting married.  And we're so thrilled to have been part of all the fun.  Congratulations to Lauren and Jeremy, and thank you so much for letting us capture your story!
