Holy Name Church Wedding Videographer :: West Roxbury, MA :: Lindsay and Chris (Part I - Preview)

When I first met Lindsay and Chris in early 2011, I was amazed at how perfect they seemed to be for each other.  After listening to me explain our film-making style, the two of them asked me the usual follow-up questions that most brides- and grooms-to-be would ask.  But they were so cooperative in explaining what they were looking for that it made my job so much easier!  We quickly moved on to viewing a few sample videos and they decided that a cinematic style was just what they were looking for.

Skip ahead several months to June 11, 2011 for their beautiful wedding at Holy Name Church in West Roxbury, MA.  Mary (one of our second-shooters) and I arrived about an hour prior to the start of the ceremony and we got our cameras and microphones ready.  I quickly found Chris, and he gave me a warm smile and introduced me to his groomsmen.  I got him mic'd up with a wireless lavaliere mic (so that we would capture his/Lindsay's vows with utmost clarity) and then Mary and I moved on to capture some detail shots.  While Mary captured shots of the guests arriving and taking their seats, I waited outside for the arrival of Lindsay's "old town" style trolley... the trolley carrying Lindsay, her bridesmaids, and her parents.

I love the attention to detail on their wedding invitation.  This is the front cover to the invitation, and yes, there are rhinestones in the design!

This wedding was absolutely amazing, and as we're going through all the footage (yes there is A LOT of footage), we're in awe of the beautiful church, the touching vows, and of course, the lovely couple.  Again, we have a lot of footage that we're still editing, but I thought I'd share a small preview of the ceremony.  Check back again often as we'll have more updates coming soon!  Enjoy!
