Happy St. Patrick's Day
In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, here's a short clip from the Boston College Irish Dance group we filmed a few weeks ago. Such a talented group of Irish step dancers! Titled "Acappella" this performance showcases the group's amazing footwork and choreography without any musical accompaniment (except for the first minute). And yes, we used specialized stage mics to capture
all the "tapping" as clearly as possible.

Online Film Streaming is Now Here!
Happy New Year!
New for our 2019 film season, we're now offering an online streaming service for our wedding films. We've partnered with streaming service MediaZilla to provide a truly unique experience for our wedding couples. You might recall that we've been including one year of online hosting of the wedding highlight film (the shorter 5-10 minute version of the entire day). But the highlight film is only one segment of our typical wedding film service, and many couples usually want more than just the highlight film. That means we've been relying on DVDs, Blu-ray discs, and USB drives to deliver the additional content. Disc-based systems are great for having dynamic menus with scene-selection options (think of buttons to "jump" to certain parts of the movie), and USB drives make it easy to watch the content on devices such as smart TVs and computers. But we haven't been able to offer truly interactive disc-style menus with the ease of online streaming... until now.
We're excited to bring this new streaming platform to you, and we're confident this will make your wedding film that much more thrilling to watch for many years to come. Couples can enjoy their films on mobile phones, tablets, and computers. And there's even an Apple TV app that makes it insanely easy to view on a large screen.
Check out the film below to try out the service yourself!
For more information about our streaming service or wedding film options, give us a call at 617-283-5196 or send us a message. Dates are still available for 2019!

Rivermill at Dover Landing Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Dover, NH :: Kaylin and Paul (Part III - Wedding Highlight Film)
Weddings are full of stories.... stories about the lives of the couple, their families, and their friends. That's part of the reason why we love capturing weddings and creating beautiful stories through which people can re-live all the best moments. And along the way, we get to hang out with some really great couples!
Take Kaylin and Paul. Their wedding at Rivermill at Dover Landing had so much warmth and personality that this quickly became one of the longest wedding highlight films we've ever produced. From the copper invitations to the copper mugs to the hand-painted welcome sign, everything about their wedding was carefully thought-out and planned. The stories about their love for their family, their work, and for life's adventures are ever so heartwarming. We are so thrilled to have been part of all the fun and excitement!
Huge thanks to my good friend and amazing cinematographer Bob for joining me on this shoot. And special thanks to the great vendors that made our jobs that much easier (see below for links to each of the vendors).
Without further delay, here's the world premiere of Kaylin and Paul's wedding highlight film. Best wishes for a beautiful future together!

Rivermill at Dover Landing Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Dover, NH :: Kaylin and Paul (Part I - Exchange of Rings)
We had such a great time working Kaylin and Paul at their wedding at Rivermill at Dover Landing a couple weeks ago. From their rustic-themed wedding elements to the candle-adorned ceremony space (with the warm glow of the candles reflecting off the Rivermill's glossy wooden floor), Kaylin and Paul filled their wedding with love, laughter, and tons of personal touches to express who they are as a couple.
We're still working on the edit for their wedding film, but until that's ready, here are some of our favorite "freeze frames" from their ceremony portion. Love all the smiles! And don't forget to scroll down to view a short sneak-peak of their wedding film!
And here's the sneak-peak into their wedding film. This 90-second clip is from their ring exchange segment.
More to come soon... check back often!

Kitz Farm Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Strafford, NH :: Jamie and Stephen (Part II - Wedding Highlight Film)
There's something about a rustic barn wedding that evokes feelings of love, warmth, and happiness. It's the feeling you get when everything just seems "right". And that's exactly the way that Jamie and Stephen's wedding day played out.
For this wedding, I had the help of good friend and great cinematographer Jim Greene. We started our day at Homewood Suites where we captured Jamie and Stephen getting ready in their suites. The couple exchanged gifts and letters, and when we saw just how emotional this couple became from reading their cards, we got a sense of how special this day would be for the both of them. And that became even more apparent when Jamie and Stephen vowed to be good parents for little Sophia... you can almost feel the love as they express their love and devotion to their adorable flower-girl.
Kitz Farm is a stunning venue for weddings, and we especially loved the view from the top of the hill (where Jamie and Stephen had their wedding ceremony). The panoramic view of the New Hampshire mountains along with the lake at the base of the hill is just breathtaking. Cocktail and reception were held at the barn, and we loved seeing all the decorations that the couple had picked out. Strings of white lights were draped across the ceiling of the barn, giving a wonderfully warm and cozy feel. And of course, let's not forget the individually personalized glass mugs for each of the guests. I love the inscription on the table reading, "Your glass for the night, for whatever tastes right".
And if you're looking for a great photographer or wedding DJ, make sure that Brett and Jodi are on your short list for vendors. Brett's work is stunning, and Jodi has amazing energy to keep the dance floor jumping all night long! Loved working with both of you!
We are thrilled to have been part of Jamie and Stephen's beautiful wedding, and we are excited to share with you their 7-minute highlight film! Congratulations to the happy couple on their big day... we wish you a beautiful future together!

Kitz Farm Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Strafford, NH :: Jamie and Stephen (Part I - Sneak Preview)
What's better than a summer wedding? Well, a summer wedding outdoors at a rustic barn, of course! A few weeks ago, we were fortunate enough to be part of all the fun for Jamie and Stephen's fun-filled wedding at Kitz Farm. And here's the best part.... their ceremony took place at the top of a hill overlooking a picturesque lake. The walkway up to their ceremony location was adorned with flowers and messages of love. Love those touches!
We're still going through countless hours of footage, but we're celebrating the completion of their wedding ceremony segment by sharing a three-minute clip highlighting their wedding vows and ring exchanges. Jamie and Stephen picked a stunning location for their ceremony, and I still cannot get over how the gentle afternoon breezes cause the tree-filtered sunlight to give a beautifully warm glow on the couple's faces. Their beaming smiles give clue to how excited they are to be starting a new chapter in their lives.
More to come soon. Congrats to Jamie and Stephen!

The Dance Organization of Boston College Dance Videographer :: Chestnut Hill, MA :: "Shine"
When we're not working with wedding couples, we're usually heavily
involved with the dance community in and around Boston. On February 3, 2017, we had the pleasure of working with The Dance Organization of Boston College
in capturing their 2017 production titled "Shine". What an amazing
performance featuring some of Boston College's finest modern, hip-hop, ballet, and tap dancers.
Here's a sneak peak of their upcoming film. Congrats to the cast and crew of DOBC's "Shine"!

StudentUniverse 2016 Airline Awards Reception :: Boston, MA Seaport :: Provincetown, MA
And now, a slight departure from our typical wedding- and dance-centric films.
I had the pleasure of working with the award-winning, student-focused travel agency "StudentUniverse" back in September 2016. What an amazing and passionate group of professionals dedicated to making the world accessible to so many adventure-seeking students. How did StudentUniverse hear about my filmmaking services? You may recall that my studio produced the wedding film for Danielle and Jared. Well it just turns out that Danielle works for StudentUniverse, and when her company was in search of a filmmaker to cover their annual airline appreciation awards event, she knew who to contact. :)
From the StudentUniverse YouTube page:
"Once each year we plan a day to spend time with our airline partners to let them know how much we appreciate the partnership and reflect on the year in review and what’s to come in the year ahead. If if wasn’t for our 75 airline partners who offer unique airfare pricing and terms to students and youth, we wouldn’t be able to carry out our mission of making global experiences possible for millions of students each year. We are incredibly proud to work with airline partners that go above and beyond for student travelers."
I am so thrilled to have been part of the fun-filled day. The ride from Boston to Provincetown (in a caravan of two stretched Hummer H2 limos and two 28-passenger party buses) was full of laughs, and being able to capture the beauty and tranquility of Provincetown in the off-season was a real treat. Thanks to StudentUniverse for allowing me to capture the day!

One of our favorite weddings of all time! Great couple, beautiful venue, and amazing weather. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Oh, and the "sparkler exit" at the end of the night was just stunning (almost near the end of their video clip)!

Lake Quannapowitt :: Wakefield, MA :: Cecilie and Spencer (Family Portraits)
And now, time for something a little different. Many of you know us for our cinematic wedding films, but every once in a while we like to throw a few different types of work on our blog. Today is one of those exceptions! We had the pleasure of working with Cecilie and Spencer (and their adorable daughter Lucia), and caught the late afternoon sun at the majestic Lake Quannapowitt. The orangey-red hues of the just-fallen leaves were the perfect backdrop for this adorable family's portraits... there truly isn't anything as spectacular as fall in New England!
Here are a few of our favorite pics from the shoot! Love the smiles!!

Ipswich Country Club Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Ipswich, MA :: Danielle and Jared (Part IV - Wedding Recap Film)
From the moment I first met Danielle and Jared (over a year before their wedding!), I knew they were an amazing couple. Perhaps it was their warm and genuine hospitality in welcoming me in their home, or perhaps it was the couple's love of travel (which led to their "travel" wedding theme) and all the amazing sites they had seen through the years. But something about this couple made me realize just how much in love they are with each other, and I couldn't wait to be part of all the wedding day fun.
Danielle and Jared started their day at St. Pius the Fifth Parish in Lynn, MA for a traditional Catholic ceremony. The couple wrote their own vows (and anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge fan of personalized-vows!). Every time I watch their wedding film, I get a little choked-up inside when I hear the truly heartfelt words that are spoken to one another. Just awesome!
The couple then headed over to the elegant Ipswich Country Club in Ipswich, MA. I have to say... the picturesque setting made for some insanely gorgeous candids of the newlyweds. And with the gentle glow of the late spring sunset in the background... well folks... this is weather that everyone wishes for on their wedding day. Danielle and Jared lucked out big time!
A huge special thanks to my good friends and amazing cinematographers Bob Accettullo and Brian Arata. You truly outdid yourselves, and I'm sure Danielle and Jared will agree that their wedding film looks stunning! And a big shout out to photographer Bharat Parmar and DJ Peter Accolla... always a pleasure to work with such talented professionals who love doing what they do!
And now, without further delay, I give you the world premiere of Danielle and Jared's wedding recap film! It has been an honor working with both of you (and your families) and I wish you all the best for a lifetime of happiness!

Ipswich Country Club Wedding Videographer/Filmmaker :: Ipswich, MA :: Danielle and Jared (Part III - Slideshow)
OK, pop quiz.... name a highlight of the wedding reception? Did you say parent dances? Yup... that's right. The traditional father-daughter and mother-son dances are full of emotion and happiness. We often see tears of happiness, and we love capturing that on film!
For Danielle and her father, their parent dance had an element that we often see at weddings... but not typically during the parent dance! Thanks to Danielle's friend Karen Manuelian and her slideshow creativity, they were able to display a slideshow of Danielle and her father DURING their parent dance! How awesome is that!
I asked Danielle if it would be ok to post the slideshow online, and she said yes. Thanks to Karen Manuelian for sharing this slideshow file with us!
